Below you will find answers to the most common questions about FindKiko, how it works, and how we protect your family's privacy and safety.
FindKiko is a family safety tool that helps parents and legal guardians stay connected with their children through secure and consent-based location sharing. The app updates the child's location every few minutes, allowing the parent to check if the child is safe.
The app typically sends a location update every 5 minutes. This interval offers the right balance between accuracy and battery efficiency. Updates may vary based on device conditions such as signal, battery optimization, or permissions.
FindKiko requires the following permissions:
If the tracked device has no internet or GPS signal, FindKiko will store the last known location and resume sending updates as soon as the connection returns.
All location data is encrypted and stored securely. We do not sell user information or share it with advertisers. Data is only used to provide the location service and nothing else. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
Only the parent or guardian who installs the app and enters their unique user ID can view the location. No one else—not even our staff—has access to private tracking data.
Yes. At any time, you can stop sharing your location by uninstalling the application. Once removed, the device immediately stops sending updates.
Not at the moment. FindKiko is currently available only for Android devices. Support for iOS may be added in the future.
GPS accuracy depends on several factors including location, signal strength, and device model. In open outdoor areas, accuracy is typically within a few meters. Indoors or in urban areas, precision may vary.
If the wrong ID is entered, the device will not be linked to your account. You can simply re-open the app settings and update the ID at any time.
